Hello guys! I came back from obs today!
Gonna spassssss cos it was totally awesome. I wish i could express how much i wish i want to go back nowwwwww.But really. i can't. Obs is not like those other crappy camps where like its damn boring -.- . Obs like teaches us a lot of things la. It isn't just about doing activities. Like we learn new stuff. Our instructor is kai yong! My watch is Hillary for those who went before! hahahhaha. Shit la i really want to go back. It is just so damn fun ): . Our instructor is super nice. Can't believed i cried. I just broke down lo!
Gosh where to start on the activities. It is just like. woah. I was quite reluctant to go to camp at first but now, I wish i could take back the worlds where i said i wanted time to past faster. It just zoomed past. I can't believe i am at home blogging about my experience now.
I think obs has really taught me how to survive in the wild and like to be independent. Kai yong is very inspirational and he is a wonderful role model. I'm glad we had him as in instructor because i wouldn't want any other. He ahhhhhh, like inspired me to be a better person and like I learnt a lot about myself and others and i loves how hillary bonded. I have never met such a bunch of co-operative group of people and i am so grateful to my god for blessing me with this opportunity.
Okay so first we had the trust fall. Really great! So fun also. heheheh then the land and sea expedition. Really cool. Although I'm a canoeist and like i kinda do it all the time,it was great to do it with my friends <3 ! i never expected this result from the camp. Omg i am still in shock that time passed so fast.
So on the land expedition we went to this auntie's farm. According to ky she is his 'relative' and like she is super cute and nice (: . She is about 70 plus and she lives alone without electricity and sleeps in a small hut. Its really amazing how she can live so happily without having anything. Like all she does is listen to the radio and she is happy. I am somewhat more appreciative of what i have because i am shocked. thennnn we camped by the beach (opposite pasir ris that side of pulau ubin) then the sea expedition we kayak back to camp 2!!
Yaaa came back did the flying fox. I was trembling like shit i tell you. I didn't know i was so afraid. But it was just so high and i didn't expect to be so scared. But i can't be afraid cos if i don't dare to do it. I am very sure my friends won't be able to do it too! I took damn long to climb the ladder cos i was scared. I took like one step at a time. Cos like i was trembling and like tiring. Forced myself to jump and i'm glad i did because it was so fun. That flying fox really had to trust your friends and like helped us bond a lot.
I'm really grateful to my instructor because he did so much for us and like, we lost some stuff. Idk how we did la. So ya a 10 piece pole broke and he used his own one and it kind of meant he paid it for us leh. Compass we pay ourselves la but other then that. Woah. Amazing. If you go to obs and get an instructor like him, I am very sure you will enjoy your camp like shittttttttt.\
If any of you are gonna go to obs and you are feeling slightly reluctant. Trust me, you will love every moment of it. Yes it is tiring. But very fun and exciting laaaa. I can't possibly blog 4days and 3 nights worth of amazing stuff!
Okay i'm gonna end off here because it is quite late and i am going to sleep and get cosy in my bed.
P.S wearing my pink obs shirt now. hehehe awesome ;)
